iv decided to paint a comic book/cartoon character onto my shoes to sell on ebay. but i dont know which one would get more bids? spiderman, superman, wonderwomen, super ted, banana man or batman? can i have the ladies opinions please? (they're girls converse)

Spiderman or Batman are more recognisable now than Superted or Bananaman especially if they're shoes for children, who might not remember the glory days of Eric or Spotty. Spiderman I'd say gets more column inches these days. Have you considered the X-Men at all? I'd check out some tattoo sites and see what the bright young things are plastering over themselves if you want more inspiration

Girl's Converse, adult size?
From a design point of view, I would personally pick either the Bat or the Spider, regardless of the gender. Why? Spiderman's web pattern is very design-friendly and can work with any surface. The Bat logo is probably the most recognisable superhero logo of all time!
However, if you're highly imaginative, Wonder Woman could be an interesting challenge.
Note: Batgirl's Bat logo differs slightly from Batman's.

If they are a girl's shoes, then try a female superhero.
Your best bet would be Wonder Woman. She is the single most popular female superhero to date. She has been around the longest, has the highest visibility, and is her own woman. Most of the other female superheros are copies of a male, i.e. Supergirl, Batgirl, Spiderwoman, etc...
