Yes, due to the freaking lies of President Bush that has cost the lives of almost 3,000 soldiers in the process! This illegal war has since turned into a Vietnam-style quagmire! You know the rest of the stinking story!

Nope. Nothing has been decided yet. The situation keeps shifting.

But you have to realize that the Iraqi people are marching relentlessly towards a stable and strong democratic government, despite all your ill-will towards them living peaceful and free lives.

Yes, it appears to have suffered a setback due to increased violence in Baghdad, but as the nature of the internal conflict changes, we adapt accordingly. That's how life generally works.

But to claim it 'lost' at this point is the height of folly and partisan political myopia.

No, but we are losing the occupation of Iraq.

Get out.
Sit back.
Watch the Muslims kill eachother.

I do think we need to stay in N. Iraq and help the Kurds though. But they are all up north and living in peace now. They're not Muslim, imagine that.

Depends on the paramaters of what the war is. If it is to topple Saddam's regime then we have won the war and are now failing in cleanup duty.

If the war was to rid the area of terrorism and create peace then now, we are failing miserably.

No. The only ones who will lose the war in Iraq are the Iraqis.

The war only lasted about a week didn't it? Now we are peace keepers, we can't even have peace in the states so I don't think it will work there either.

Well, "war" was never officially declared - the US invaded that country as it needs a powerbase in the mideast so if it wasn't Iraq it would have been one of the others.
