Statistics suggest that 40% of women and 60% of men at one point indulge in extramarital affair.
It's estimated that 80% of marriages will have one partner at one point or another involved in marital infidelity.
70% of married women and 54% of married men did not know of their spouse's extramarital activity.
Women are initiating 70% - 75% of all divorces.
The above are irrespecive of religion.
No wife will intentionally allow husbands to cheat on them, irrespective of religian.
Islam Allows the man to marry more than once.
'However men are prohibited from cheating on their wives, meaning a man can't marry another woman without the knowledge of his wife. He should tell her, for she might refuse such situation, and in this case it's totally her right if she asked for divorce. '

why would muslim women be any different?
u mean in some countries where men marry more than one woman..then thats not cheating cos u have a right. i would hate to be like that tho. but im muslim and im a normal person so i wouldnt allow my boyfriend or my husbans or anything to cheat on me...

in most muslim countires.. men are allowed to have more than one wife.. and women are seen as inferior in the middle east.. so there's nothing they can do about it

I don't believe they have a choice. They could try to stand up to their husbands, but they'd get the smack down!!
