I had my son 14 wks ago. I barely breast fed, only a couple weeks, so I've been off that for sometime. I still have 9lbs to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Question is: will my breast return to their original size? I used to be a 32B, now I'm a 32D! Not that I'm totally complaining...just wondering if this is normal, or is it the extra weight?

Mine never returned to "normal". 14 weeks is still a little early to tell what yours will do. it really takes a full year for the body to fully recover from pregnancy and childbirth. Some women's stay a little larger, some get smaller, less full, and droopy. It's unlikely they will ever look or feel like they did before you were pregnant. It has more to do with the pregnancy itself than with the length of time you breastfeed.

It is normal, and believe it or not, some women never go back to their pre-pregnancy size. My mother in law was an A cup before pregnancy and a D after! Dead serious. So don't be surprised if they stay. One of the few times in life that you actually make fat cells (usually you just shrink or expand them) is during pregnancy- so you may have "grown" many more in your breasts during pregnancy.

Some is extra weight some is still breast milk but very rarely do your breast return to their pre-pregnancy size they either are bigger or smaller than befor but what ever size they are when you get your weight stablized is what they will be untill your next pregnancy

Honestly, in some women...never. I was a nice size C before I had my daughter. Went up to a DD. Lost a TON of weight due to health problems and my boobs ended up being a D. I weigh less now than I did before when I was a C.

Now that I'm pregnant, I'm a DD....don't know what size is next..but I think I need it!

honestly, it is very different for everyone. My best friend always had a c cup since having her kids she is a DD. she hasn't breastfed for a year and they're still huge!!! Me on the other hand i have always been a small C three children later and I think they have actually shrunk. To answer your question though, it definitely could just be that you need to lose just a few more lbs before you really see a difference in them.

I breastfed my first daughter for 6 months and I never returned to my original size before I got pregnant again...Most women I know end up shrinking to smaller than before pregnancy after their hormones drop off.

After having a child a breast change is perfectly normal and although you will mostly go back to what you were originally some changes will always remain. most women do stay slightly bigger after.

Eventually I'm sure you will lose some but they will always be flabby now. Sorry to say. I hope this helped.

It's my understanding that sometimes they never go back to normal. Mine haven't.
