My lady is from Thailand and so are a lot of our friends. It seems to me that even these Thai people here in the USA are supportave of getting this guy out of office. They support the King to the fullest.

The people of Thailand do not like this guy even if he did help them a lot. The probem they have with the PM has to do with thing like selling the state owned phone service to an other country. .Not a person in some other country but to an other country. Would you think it would be kewl if Bush sold all of our phone services to say Israel or maybe Russia or maybe even India? They would have full control over the infomation and could even turn off the Internet to you whole country and or block websites from you if they wanted to.

He sounds like a republican to me and thinks of his back pocket not about the people. If it don't make him money then he won't do it.

Well to be correct, Christianity is the biggest religion and Islam second. However, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world with more converts world wide especially in the west and among black people. This means that Islam will be the largest religion in the world not to far away.

I don't know about the faiths of the people involved but the thing that upsets me is that there should be no need for military intervention in a country with a democratically elected government.
The correct thing to do would have been to wait for the next elections and if the people of the country are unhappy with the current prime minister then he should be voted out.

It should not be down to the military to decide.

He's not taking on religion but ousting a corrupt politician. Good on him i say. He's already talking about handing control over to civilian government in a few weeks and having a new democratic government installed within a year. All without firing a shot. Impressive.

Well, Christianity is the world's biggest faith with 1.7 billion, then Islam with 1.0 billion. Buddhism (0.7 billion) is a pacifist faith anyway, so its not like there would be much of a punch up.

He probably just wants to replace civil corruption with good, old fashioned military dictatorship anyway.
