Joan Baez was big time in the 60s and early 70s. She was an anti-Vietnam war activist. She was one of the acts at Woodstock. She sang the song "Joe Hill". I'm 42 and know about her, but I bet most people younger than me do not.

Of course. I'm 41. Her voice bugs me a little but she's talented. Sings well with Dylan on the Rolling Thunder Review Bootleg Series CD.

Yes I have heard of Joan Baez.
I am old enough to have already gone through my second childhood but I am young enough to still be working and ineligible for Medicare.

Yes, good singer and one of Bob Dylans old flames and tour
companions. What does age have to do with it when it's heart felt? Peace my friend.

56, and she was quite popular in the 60's. "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" was one of her big hits.
