Two controversial calls by the officials gave Oregon a victory over Oklahoma. Oklahoma fans are angry, but wasn't it God's will? Like the Supreme Court giving the Presidency to Mr. Bush in 2000, we are supposed to accept that as God's will, and Bush as God's choice for President. So shouldn't the people of Oklahoma be thankful God made His choice, even if they don't understand the wisdom and righteousness of it? Shouldn't we accept disease and pain and death gladly because it too is God's swill?

God did not want Oregon to win.

He just hates Oklahoma. Hence the dust bowl, tornados, bad teeth, inbreeding and poor education.

He keeps Oklahoma in a constant state of backwardness.

I live in Oregon, and though the Ducks are my rival (I'm an OSU Beaver alum), I say God or no God, what goes around comes around. The Ducks have been screwed enough that maybe this was just time for another team to get screwed. Dunno, maybe the whole thing will be scratched. I wanted the Ducks to win, but not unfairly. The fact that you have to bring God's will into it is just lame. And no matter what, no official should get death threats, bad judgment or not. Now "God's swill" is a different story...
Dude, and how can you even compare this to the election of Bush? Can't you think of something better to say whatever you're trying to say? It's college football...you don't have to make it religious or political...talk about sapping the life out of something enjoyable.

Oklahoma did get jobbed. However, the only reason we know this for sure is the instant replay. How many college games in the past were decided by bad calls by the officials? Maybe we just didn't have the technology to know for sure.

Ruling that the Florida supreme court can't legislate = giving the election to Bush? Should the Judicial branch be allowed to legislate? You may want to get as familiar with the case as you are with the rhetoric.

I don't think god wanted Oklahoma to lose Saturday, just the refs and the goons that paid them off.

I hate Oklahoma football but in all due honesty, they got screwed big time in that game. I'm not even sure why the refs bothered showing up for that one.

There is a symmetry to God's universe that some people refer to as "karma".

Remember the fumbled punt no-call against UAB three weeks ago?

Remember what John Lennon said about "instant karma"?

No. The refs wanted Oregon to win just like Jeb Bush wanted his brother to win the presidency. It's all about money.

I THINK IT IS GOD'S WILL FOR EVERYONE TO GET OVER THIS BLOWN CALL. AS FOR BUSH, IT MUST HAVE BEEN GOD'S WILL, BECAUSE HE CERTAINLY WON THE ELECTION. I THINK IT IS ALSO GOD'S WILL THAT DEMOCRATS GET OVER GETTING DEFEATED IN THE LAST TWO PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS. NOBODY GAVE THE ELECTION TO BUSH.
