I'm looking at switching banks and am questioning getting a standard checking account or an electronic backing e53 account with Fifth Third Bank. I've read the info online and I still have questions.

Do you have an e53 checking account?
How does it work?
Any complaints?
Can you still use paper checks as deposits?
Are there hidden fees?

Help.. please!

I have the regular 53 free checking account, but I believe my husband has the E53. I am under the impression that all of his transactions must be electronic (atm, check card, direct deposit) or he will be charged a fee for teller services. I hope that helps.
