Yes I do..There is not enough true love in the world today as it is...
If they REALLY love each other and know it will be long lasting then they should be legally commited to each other in everyway..
And dont get the wrong idea, I am 54 and straight, always will be, but people are just that..people..dont matter what sex or color or anything else..Love is not something made up or you learn..it is just within you so you got something to give to someone else that is truly a piece of YOU..

Yes. First of all this had been around before Christ, which means this is nothing new. We just make a big deal about it now. Second as long as people are in love how can there be bad in that? I know hetro's who are a lot more messed up in live than homo's. I feel that if they want to, go for it. Be happy, live life to the fullest and please adopt if you can. Obviously don't push your feelings on others, but other shouldn't be pushing their personal preferences about sex on you either. So that said, they should go for it and be happy.

No, I don't feel that it's right for same sex marriage. For one thing, the only way to make a marriage is to consumate it. Gay people can't do that. They have sex, but it's not consumation. GOD said it's an abomination, therefore it's wrong. I know alot of gay people and they know how I feel. All of them confuse love with sex. I'm sorry, but I have yet to meet any gay people who truely love someone for other reasons besides sex.

When it comes to marriage, many people adopt law and religion!
The Pope and churches are telling people for example- condoms - is unlawful. How many people in the poorer Africa, less educated areas of our world are affected by AIDS and deseases with such preachings??
Religion has been saying that homosexuals are immoral, unnatural, unlawful. How many have suffered mental, physical torments by those who use religion as bases for their hatred, abuse and biasness?
Ok - granted, Islam is fundamentally of the same opinion as Catholicism in these matters. What about issues like sex outside/before marriage, babies cloning, masturbation, capital punishment, abortion and etc?
Why majority of straight communities against same sex marriage and not applying 'religion' as a whole in everyday and every espect of their lives?
It is HYPOCRITICAL for many us here to against same sex marriage while many straight couples nowdays could indulge in serious extra-marital affairs, 3some, swinggers and cohabitation? Why not we applying the same principle to those majority of people?
If both parties are in love regardless their sex, color, race, background, lifestyle..why not? If you want to apply democracy, equal rights and liberty, then dont 'bully' the minorities by misusing religion. Leave religion alone as a secular insititution especially in the 21th Century that we live in now.

I believe it is right to allow it. Since the marriage of two people only symbolizes their commitment -it is not a guarantee of it, commitment is not on a piece of paper it is in your heart- not allowing these marriages will serve no purpose, except the purpose of people who discriminate and say that their love is superior to another's.

i do think that everybody has the right to choose who they want to be with..however, it is just not so normal marrying or being with the same sex that is why it is quite an issue..on the other hand, i do think that marriage is never that important..the important thing is that you are compatible & you feel the same way about each other whether you are with an opposite sex or with the same sex..Ü

No. I don't believe that same sex marriage is God's plan for mankind. Although we do live in a free country I think this is an issue our country shouldn't budge on.

While I don't agree with homosexuality, I'm not sure what the repercussions of same-sex marriage would be.

Would it affect anyone else, really? I'm not so sure it would, so if other actions are condoned, I'm not sure why the government is so hung up on preventing same sex marriages.
