Love gets stronger as time goes by and lust fades with time.

The real question is do you like who he is, and is there an attraction. If there is some attraction and you think you will be happy with this man. gop for it.

Lust is the most dangerous thing we can follow through with. That is beucase it is a form of insanioty design over our evolution for one purpose onlyu: to reproduce the species. Many marry out of lust and hate their partners. Succesful relationships have little lust and much real boinding, trust, intimacy, understanding, compassion, and shared experiences with emotional support.

If there is not attraction, or the other person turns you off sexually when kissing, for example, there can only be a friendshp, or a marriage where the frustrated person starts sresenting their decision to marry.

Lust is a physical desire which fades. Love is something else altogether and it's strong, and it stays. Since it's been such a long time, and he's still doing all these things for you, I think it's love. But be careful, find out and see where to go from there.

Real love is when a person puts the needs of the other first. Lust is when the person is only concerned about their own desires.

well if its just lust then all you would want to do is get in the sack w/ him..lust sees no wrong in the other person . and you dont think of the future w/ just lust.Love you see the future very clear w/ wanting him to be there w/ you.. Love you see the imperfections of him but you are willing to deal with it and love him for it..

giving a guess,i think lust will be the feeling where u just want sex with the opposite person.
whether love will NOT be sex at the first,it will only come later in the relationship and prior to that, there will be affection from one to theother and vice versa..
hope it's clear and helpful to u..

it seems that he is falling for you. of course lust is the beginning stages of love, but it sounds like he is past that and wants a more meaningful relationship

If it lasts more that a year, it's likely love.
The hormones and pheremones stop having an effect after about a year.
