if you're referring to where they want the models to put on some weight... heck yeah i agree.... those poor girls were starving themselves and that can have some long term health and psycholical consequences.... besides, alot of them looked sick.

Yes and no. I think it should be taken into account that some women are genetically thin and not necessary unhealthy. They could´ve included other tests to find out whether the models were healthy or not, are they anemic for instance. I also think they should´ve prepared better, why weigh the models a day or two before the show causing so much havoc? Those models were hired months ago. I think it´s all to do with publicity for the show. They create controversy so that everyone´s talking about this and want the show. I honestly don´t think they give a damn about the models.

Absolutely...I applaud them.
To insist only on emaciated models, the fashion industry has historically embraced and promoted drug-ridden eating disorders to conform to their unrealistic "ideal." It is not attractive nor should it be used to define the perfect body type in a way that promotes an unhealthy lifestyle among young women. This antiquated standard should have been admonished and abolished a long time ago. The skin and bones models are nothing more than highly-paid skeletons. Go to any cemetary and you can see as many as you would like without paying designer prices.

Yes. I wish it would become the standard for modeling all over the world. There is nothing attractive about being a skeleton. Some of the models do drugs to keep their weight down. It needs to change.

YES!
And it's spreading, that's what is even better. So far London and India have been drawn into the debate. While London allowed the models, the people and the Prime Minister were against it.
I love it, and I can't wait for the rest of the world to catch up.

yes...why they think it looks good o be that skinny i do not no but very young people look up to them i heard on the radio that girls as young as five have ANOREXIA if only they knew how much they were damaging there bodies
but i think they shouldn't ban theese models because in there state its probably the only job they are fit for they should just make them see that basically they are killing themselves
***please do not think that all young girls are like this because i am 17 i am not fat and i am not skinny im thin and there is a difference between skinny and thin******

I'm not really to up to date with what's going on, but from what I have heard, I believe their heart is in the right spot, but those models are doing their job and there are many other people those girls can look up to besides skinny models. : )

yes, as long as women don't take it for an excuse to be fat then its good because a LOT of models were gross, I had more boubs than them and they had to **** to hold on too. Not so much, no too little, balance ladies, balance. Just don't get fat or anorexic.
It's like a guy, u don't want him to mushy, not to agressive...

ya i do agree with it. i mean so many teens girls become anorexic or bulimic because they look up to the models and wanna be like them. now people will understand that u don't have to be skinny in order to be beautiful.
