With researching industries, there are companies that provide specific industry reports. These reports, however, are not inexpensive. IBISWorld http://www.ibisworld.com/industry/home.aspx is one company that provides industry report for each NAICs code for $595.

An alternative is to find associations for that industry as they often have industry reports. Associations also have information and even reports on how to market their type of businesses.
