People are always saying get a life or you need a life... What does it really mean? What is a life? If you are alive and breathing you have a life no? I want to know what you think.

This is a general question it is not regarding me personally thank God I have a life and Im pretty busy throughout the day between work and hobbies/recreation.

Yeah I see your point.....we all have a life but is it by choice?
The guy who shoots you a bird on the freeway, does he have a life or does he need to get a life? How about the guy who takes a leak on the roses? How about the guy who threw up in the confessional with father John pressing his ear next to the screen? Choices we all have choices!!

It means that you need to have some interests and goals. Sitting in front of the computer answering questions or playing games is not a full life. Get out into the real world. Make friends. Join clubs. Play sports. Get it?

By "get a life", people usually mean you should find another hobby, one that involves going out more.

I think it means putting some excitement in your life or it could mean that someone doesn't want you in their business and they want you to bud out.
