Density is a physical property because it describes the chemical.

Student error is a human error such as miss reading the measurements or doing the math wrong. Random error is usually equiment error or something that can't be controled such as the equiment is calibrated correctly or if it isn't accurente (Sig. Figs.)

Chemical properties are properties that specifically have to do with how a chemical reacts with other chemicals. Density has nothing to do with "reactivity" so it is a physical property.

Student error stems from when a student or students use incorrect methodology to make their measurements. Something is specifically done by the student that is either incorrect or inaccurate. These things cannot be said about random error.

density is a physical property...why? because it is not charateristic of the substance itself...that is a physical property is any aspect of an object or substance that can be measured or perceived without changing its identity. Physical properties can be intensive or extensive. An intensive property does not depend on the size or amount of matter in the object, while an extrinsic property does.
