The only real reason it offends me is just as you said, they won't show things that might be offensive to any religion BUT Christianity. They could care less if they offend Christians, but Muslims, Scientologists, etc...can't offend them. That wouldn't be right. I say, if you can justify putting on something that might offend Christians then you should be able to justify putting on something that offends anyone regardless of their religious beliefs...or even race for that matter. What's good for one should be good for all if they're going to play that way.

I'm catholic but not really into religion; actually it seems to cause more problems in the world than it does good. Anyway to answer your question, I personally won't be offended I just think it's kind of disrespectful to show someone as dirty and skanky as Madonna as Jesus. That's just what the world is coming to.
Now to answer your other question about NBC not airing the Mohammed guy, well that's just common sense, think about it, American's aren't muslims and to be brutally honest, hate them, no one wants to see a cartoon that is going to remind them of those freak *** terrorists. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Yes it offends me. Rosie can call radical Christians dangerous and Madonna can make fun of every religion but hers. If someone made fun of her religion, you can bet that she would be the first person to complain. She is not that popular anymore, so controversy is the only way to get her noticed.
The more people that call or send in mail to NBC complaining, the less likely they will be to show offensive material.

It purely is going to show that some human beings think of it extremely is okay to offend a selection of of the U.S. inhabitants, yet no longer Muslims. actual that if she is attempting to emulate Jesus on the bypass, specific it is offensive. Crusifixion replaced right into a sort of punishiment the Romans doled out. it extremely is seen very cruel and inhumane and that they did it to many. So, if she is purely emulating the various, it is something diverse. NBC is a media that is going for sensationalism purely like numerous different. I continuously concept it unhappy that human beings like sturdy memories, yet you seldom see those. i think of it extremely is the idiots who're in fee saying what we prefer (that don't be attentive to what we prefer), the programmers, that positioned those products on the air.

Well it¸s probably because the hole world is afraid of Muslim religion cause they are known for their aggressive reactions and actions when it comes to their believes but Christians are usually just load without any aggressive behavior...it¸s probably why NBC will air Madonna ...

She just does it for the shock factor.....she always has. I could care less. I know where my heart is in the matter, so I'm not worried about it. The entertainment industry is so overblown. But, she will most definately offend a huge amount of people....but there again is that attention that she craves!

i've always liked madonna's music, especially when she first came on the scene(imagine madonna-sweet and innocent!!!), but now i do find her offensive, i guess because to me it seems she tries to act like a man.
haven't you noticed lately, television has become increasing un-family orientated, showing more and more vulgarities. i'm surprised they don't show her nude!!!!
but to answer your question, maybe it's because she's american, not foreign??? don't really understand why one would be okay and the other not.
what you added makes sense, ratings. it's all about the almighty dollar. and yes madonna does like shock value, it's negative attention but it's attention.

Jesus wasn't the only person to be crucified. Madonna is just making the news again. I won't watch, but only because I am not interested in what she does.

I would find this offensive and i'm not even a Christian.
I think Madonna is a careless person who should be more responsible about the things she does.
