It depends on the type of MP3 player you have. Some will be seen under my computer as a removable disk, others you need to install some software. If you plug it into your computer and you see "Removable disk" listed as a drive you don't need to install software and should be able to copy and paste MP3 files from the location on your computer to the MP3 player. Do this by double clicking removable disk, then open the file where your music is, select the files you want to put on the player, right click, choose copy, go to the window for the removabel disk, right click in there and select paste.

If after plugging the player into your PC you don't see anything under my computer then you need to install software to make it work. Put the make and model into google, find the players manufacturers website, usually they have a download section where you can obtain the software you need (make sure it's for the right player). How you then put music onto the player depends on the software, but generally it will tell you how in the help files.
