they are actually a bit mischieviuos like pixies! they are fundamentally good, but like to have a laugh! do not bother asking them questions just now, since you are so lucky to know gnomes, wait a little and gain their trust.

tell him how you feel maybe that's his way of showing he has a crush on you. If after talking to him it gets worse kill him with kindness. Take a beautiful flower and shove it down his troat. That might work.
