Since your using those two sites, I am guessing your looking to promote for free. If so, you need to learn search engine optimzation. You can find resources all over the web. This will be your best bet for the long run and all it takes is time.

Write some articles that are related to your site and submit them to article directories, these get a lot of traffic. A few places to submit:

You can also do link exchanges with other sites.
