The froth isn't always white, if it's a strongly coloured food substance you'll get coloured froth. Ever made soup? It's usually kind of yellowy brown like the stock.

it's probably really not, but froth is, like, whipped up liquid (either by shaking or CO2) so there's quite a bit of air in it. it's possible the color isn't very visible because it's mostly made of air and bubbles and such. if you notice, also, when you put a tiny bit of a colored liquid in the bottom of a glass or container, the color is much lighter than a larger amount of the same liquid.

The chemicals they use to make things lather are the same so the froth is the same. Unless you have ever cooked purple sprouting brocoli then the froth is brown/purple! Its gross!

Not true - froth on coke is brown and froth on a hastily poured ribena is dark pink!
