I always get pets at the animal shelter, they are free. You have to get them checked out and eveything, but the ASPCA normally refunds that money if you mail in to them. I would never go out and but a dog, when there are animals who are going to be put down unless they get picked up.

My dog Mya was $250.00 they were asking $500.00 but they had her for 3 months after the rest of the litter was sold so they cut the price in 1/2. Now she is 1 year old.

My to cats were free because they were both found:

Harley was at a farm my boyfriend worked at and he was only about 3 or 4 weeks old. Now he is 3 years old.

Stormy was found in a work trucks engine compartment and she was about 5 weeks old and now she is about 4 months old.

First dog was $175, she's sweet. Second was a stray- she was whatever fees were due to the vet at the pound. She's crazy. I live them both, though.

My dogs and cat were all free. One dog and the cat were given to me by my parents, and my other dog was given to us by a coworker of my husband.
