I'm in a football pool at work. I'm trying hard on this, but keep getting edged out. If you feel strongly about any NFL teams this week, I'd be more than happy to listen to you. Thanx so much.

Thank you all for your answers. I truly appreciate it. Here's a few in my pool that are stumping me...Nevada vs. Northwestern, SMU vs. arkansas state. I was thinking Mi State would upset Notre Dame. They seem like they are on a roll. Anyone else?

First off, I'm not a pro, I just do a little online gaming. These are my picks.
Texas over Iowa (Texas is at home and they want some revenge from the Ohio spanking)
Ohio St over Penn St (a no brainer - ND laid the spanking on Penn I don't suspect Ohio to be any different)
Georgia Tech over Virginia (GT is just playing good ball)
Upset pick - Michigan over Wisconson (Big Blue is laying the smack down! Did you see them embarass ND!)
LSU over Tulane (really this is more of a gimmie than a pick - LSU is going to knock their teeth out!)
UTEP over New Mexico (The UTEP Miners are playing really really solid ball this year!)
Rutgers over Howard (again a no brainer)
And my upset pick! Michigan State beats ND! The Irish suck right now! They have no confidence and they are weak!
Basically stick with the ranked guys this week and you won't go too far wrong - especially since they are playing most in-conference games. Stay away from the Arizona State vs. California game (#22 vs #21) - it's not going to be pretty.

Depends if you're going straight up or against the spread. And I'm not sure how someone thinks Michigan beating Wisconsin would be an upset, since Michigan is a 15-point favorite. And Texas is playing Iowa State, not Iowa. Hawkeyes are in Champaign this weekend smacking Illinois around.

Don't know how many you want, but here goes:
1. Michigan over Wisconsin
2.. Ohio State over Penn State
3. Louisville over Kansas State
4. Clemson over North Carolina
5. Texas over Iowa State
6. West Virginia over East Carolina
7. Michigan State over Notre Dame
8. USC over Arizona
9. Virginia Tech over Cincinnati
10. Florida over Kentucky
11. Iowa over Illinois
12. Boston College over NCS
13. LSU over Tulane
14. Nebraska over Troy
15. Auburn over Buffalo
I think I hit the major games. All are pretty much no-brainers, except for the ND game, which would be an upset.
NFL- Bengals over the Steelers (unfortunately), Jacksonville over the Colts, Titans over the Dolphins, Bears over the Vikings, Panthers over the Bucs, Lions over the Packers, Ravens over the Browns, Bills over the Jets, Redskins over the Texans, Cardinals over the Rams, Giants over the Seahawks, Eagles over the Niners, and Patriots over the Broncs. These are much closer, with many that could go either way- just my opinion.
