Have you ever wanted something so badly that looked so good? You wasted the money that you did (or didn't) have to buy this thing. Then years later, you just happen one day to look at it and say What the hell was I thinking when I wasted my money on that thing?

I hate shopping but when I buy clothes I try on EVERYTHING first. I am very hard on myself so I don't buy much. If its dry clean only I don't buy it. Then I try to figure out how much it will shrink. As soon as I buy something I feel wasteful. But last week after trying on 20 pairs on pants that didn't fit and Pennys I found 1 sweater. It was sag harbor and ended up being $44!!! I've never spent that much on anything but shoes. But I was in a hurry on my lunch break and I think I'm going to keep it. A single girl needs to splurge sometimes.

The worst is online purchasing. It's so easy to buy - a few clicks and lines of type - and I've regretted the purchase before the package even arrives.

I hate when I impulse buy at the grocery store. I bought chicken...when I know I don't have the patience to defrost, so that chicken is still sitting in the freezer...I hope some other chicken eater in the house eats it soon.

sure, i've experienced that as quickly as 30 min after buying something!
sometimes you just buy things on the spur of the moment, on impulse. and you regret the buy later. and its really bad if you can't exchange or refund it!
for me, a lot of the times its either clothes or decorative items.

LOL, same thing happened 2 weeks ago.. I went to walden books, and bought 3 books (spent $40) regretted it that same day.... A week later I went back and returned it... :)

Being an old shop-a-holic...it happens to me WHILE purchasing an item...I have to FORCE myself to think...will I ever REALLY USE IT?! OR do I REALLY NEED TO HAVE IT? then 9 out of 10 times I've convinced myself I NOT to get it...but I get home and say...Damn..should've bought it... LOL

yeah,i bought a winter boots for over $200 coz it looks so cute and now i only happen to use it one season a year and for some more years i wouldnt be able to use it anymore coz its out of fashion and too small to fit me,grr!
