I have Master Degree in economics,Ukraine.(I will move to Detroit next year).And would like to prove my education in USA,to have good job there in the future.

If you mean the University of Michigan -- then either degree would be good. Their B-School is first rate and so is their economics department.

At the best economics departments, they usually accept students for the PhD program and give out a MS as a booby prize for those who don't complete it. A MBA opens more doors than a failed PhD.

Take English classes well.

Choosing MBA or Eco depends on what you want to do in the future. What is your passion? Do you see working in a business enviornment or in a Economics enviornment. I mean both deal with finance, just one is more in-depth.

Take MBA in Econmonics. You can specify a specialty towrads the end of the MBA.
