Quick question, though both takes work, do you feel you'd get more satisfaction from starting a new fraternity/sorority organization, in which you'd be a founder without going thru the pledging process or would you rather get down and dirty with people from different backgrounds and earn your letters? If you choose to start a new frat/soro, do you consider it taking the easy way out?

I would start a new frat, I would want to set new examples and make people happy, so yes, I would get down and dirty and start a new frat for the people, I would love to make it a fun frat. :)

I think that doing either would be a privilidge. I just wouldn't want to take on founding a new one as a means of taking the easy road, b/c first of all, I am sure that the founding of any new organization is not easy by any means. I think that founding an new one would be a great honor, as I belong to a sorority, and I know that we hold our founders in very high esteem...so it would be an honor to be a part of that kind of legacy.

But I do consider it an extreme honor to be a member of a sorority and a part of the legacy my founders left behind for me to participate in carrying on. To know that I can significantly contribute to the community through my membership is something that I cherish as well.

Either way both membership in and the founding of a sorority are huge responsibilities. Each action would carry it's own individual journey's, trials and tribulations, and rewards as you travel the road that you would be lead down in doing either.

Sororities are the most demeaning, exclusive, and cliquey organizations on campus. Self-respecting women should avoid them at all costs and join something worthwhile where you can make true friends such as a volunteer organization, political group, school newspaper, sports team, drama club, etc. Sorority chicks treat each other badly, abuse pledges, and are ignorant and have no self-respect.
