I feel it has,, I know I use mine more. It only make sense to throw on my apron while cooking or cleaning rather than change my clothes.

I've been known to wear an apron from time to time when cooking and cleaning. I'd rather get stains on my apron than on my clothes. I don't go wearing one out on the streets though.

Oh ya, clothes are expensive now days, as is everything else. Why ruin them when you can use an apron?

I didn't know that it was obsolete in the first place.
It's always been better than ruining your clothes when preparing foods etc.
