Movies based on true stories are the best.

I love Remember the Titans!

I also loved Glory Road, Friday Night Lights, Eight Below, Titanic (even though the romance part was false), Radio, Passion of the Christ (even though I covered my eyes when he was beaten), United 93 (sad event have yet to see World Trade Center), and theres prob. a few more.

Watching movies that are based on a true story are better cuz u see what that person or persons goes through. U feel connected in a sense.

Oh and the horror movies based on true stories.. that just freaks me out but, I still enjoy them.
For instance... Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, The Amityville Horror..a few others I do believe.

David Byrne's film "True Stories". Its' a quaky comedy based off of true stories from Tabloid newspapers. Funny stuff. John Goodman is a guy looking for a wife (puts up a "wife wanted" sign in his front lawn), there is a rich woman who hasn't gotten out of bed in years, just because she doesn't have to, psychics, compulsive liars, Swoozie Kurts, Spaliding Gray, 400 sets of twins, Texas, shopping malls and computers. What more could you want? Oh, and great music by Talking Heads.

Whithout a doubt the best is Goodfellas! It's amazing how that movie follows the real events of the time. I realize Henry's character was exadurated but it's an amazing true story if you really look into it.
