I've beeen thinking this guy is " the one " , but yesterday when he said " I think we are soul mates " , I literally felt a cold chill run up my spine and I froze stiff and turned pale . WHY ???
Is that a normal reaction ? or am I dealing with a major comitment phobia ?

Only you can answer that. What were you thinking and /or feeling at the moment he said “soul mates”? There’re many reasons why you would receive a strong reaction to his statement. Did you have a positive or negative feeling at the time? How do you feel about SOUL MATES, do you believe in such a thing or was it a scary feeling? I got a chill from the move 6th Sense.
“or am I dealing with a major commitment phobia ?” are you asking do I have “commitment phobia” that is below the conscience level ? I don’t think so, because you would know. I think it was kind of freaky for you. You know “soul mates” has to do with spiritual things. Something like “They were together through many life times, and were matched at the creation of the soul”. You know we never meet anyone one just by chance, but are you sure “SOUL MATES” exists? I don’t know, but when you look at the world of relationships, it seems like they don’t find each other very often. After all your “SOUL MATE” in this life may be a family member, or some other person who is a major part of this life, but one you would never have that type of relationship with. You know romantic.

Could the cold chill been mistaken as goosebumps of excitement? My initial thought is no, but its possible. I would probably say there are few things in your past that are making you hesitant with real commitment. The thought to you, in private, is a wonderful thing, but when it comes out in the open, it might scare you alittle. Maybe theres a few things you need to come to terms with before you move on. I think you probably need to make very sure this is it.

if hes available then u may need 2 accept the fact that u have been tamed. it happens 2 all of us at some point. some manage 2 escape sometimes but eventually most of us get caught.
let it happen. i guess the reaction is different 4 most but the outcome is the same. my freaky demon is in love. whatta ya know.

Maybe hearing him say it helped it set in and subconsciously you realized that he may not be 'the one'. Yikes! Such a complicated situation when you're teetering almost on the fence you know?> Good luck!

Either that or someone droppped a piece of ice down the back of your shirt... ;)

That's right babe; "major commitment phobia", that's the one; it's very common these days; one of the reasons why abortions have long been so fashionable. Beware of that pit, sis.

Far be it from me to ever understand how a woman feels. But that is a sure-fire sign in my book. Take some time to yourself to mull that one over. Best of luck!

There is nothing wrong with you.

Embrace the phobia. It's obviously trying to tell you something.
