It sells name brand clothing and accessories, and furniture...I dont mean no Tommy Hilfiger sh*t either!!! I am talking Juicy, Roca Wear, Guess, Lucky, Liz Claiborne, Michael Kors, BCBG, Fendi, Prada, you name it they have it practically. These items are going for $90 or LESS (including genuine fur coats). Is it legal for them to sell damaged goods (tiny tears or stains) like this? I didnt think that you could re-sell a damaged product from such high end stores...dont they dispose of this stuff so people, like these that i have found, cannot profit off of thier cast offs????
dont get me wrong...i have nothing against them...i was just wondering cause if u think it is illegal i will make sure to use cash instead of plastic!!! I am not sure of the name exactly...it is a lil hole in the wall store that is in the GHETTO...i accidentally found it the other day when i got lost...lol...the inside is really creepy and dirty...

Many company's will sell their "cast offs" to dealers in second hand clothes and stores. This includes name brand dresses, appliances etc. rather than just dispose of them. I guess they figure it's better to sell them at low price "lots" than not to make anything on them at all.
I can tell you a true story, a major retail store in New York City will take back faulty merchandise for refunds or exchange and then sell them in bulk to other dealers who then will sell them to street peddlers. For example I bought a small radio off the street and found that it didn't work, so I took a big chance and took it right back to the street person and they gave me another one. It worked alright, except it only got half the stations. I looked at the original price tag and found it to be from a major store in town. This is when I first realized what was happening - this is why the street peddlers don't work the same corner in the same boro each week.
So in some cases, I would say it's legal to sell in bulk, but illegal when sold as working or as new, but in the case of a second hand store or as what really is, then it's legal as long as they tell you.

Yes its legal. Usually hwta happens, if theres an issue with a product, or a whole lot is mis marked, designer houses sell them as wholesale to get rid of them/ They get what they can get for them. Also, larger end Dept stores will do the same thing with customer returns. Just take advantage of a good sale price already, assuming theres nothing wrong with it. Also though, make sure theyre authentic, hate to pay 90 bucks for a knock off, lol. But yea, thats usually the case when u see stuff like that. So go ahead and buy it if u like it

I sure wouldn't use plastic in a store like that. You would probly be on here tomorrow asking about idenity theft!! I would say it's probly not legal. It's probly some stolen item that they sell to help bay for drugs. But hey..if it's cheap and great than you profit!! Good deal.

It's legal if they state that they are selling it as damaged goods.
