Commodities Trading in India has started in 2003. Exchanges that offer Commodities Trading are MCX and NCDEX. Future in these segments is very very bright as there are very few professionals who are good. Knowledge about the same is very limited in India, as most brokers dealing in commodities are new to the concept. But if you take a look at the daily trading volumes in the Commodities market you will see that they are catching up with the Cash segments. Currently only Commodities futures trading is available. There is a lot of demand for professionals outside India too in this field.
