i know what you mean, they're time is drawing to a cloe, once we stop needing oil, bam, their 3rd world nations again. they need us, they are just too stupid to realize it.

You want to hear something good about USA; here it goes.
We were the first ones to help people in Lebanon, and the tsunami victims. We were the first ones to offer condolences to Great Britian during last year's terror attacks in their trains. Whenever there is an earthquake in some third world country the US sent money, food, medicine, rescue people and engineers. People tend to forget those things.
Football season is here, the Mets clinched NL east, and hopefully tonight the Yankees will clinch the AL east title (go YANKEES). Soon hockey and basketball season will be here.

Please visit each state and get out and talk to the people. You will see why this country will never be like it was again. You are going to hear about the middle east for a long time, especially now that Bush is waging world war 3 against any country who doesn't agree with him. Bush himself is a terrorist. Only difference is, he informs them first before he destroys their cities.

Our self imposed dependance on oil will continue to make the Middle East important. Even if we get ourselves weaned off the oil we will always need to try to keep some positive relations there. I know what you mean though, it seems like a bad nightmare that just keep coming night after night. Maybe eventually some of the middle eastern countries will actually start talking some of their problems out. Heck if diplomacy works with them maybe we'll even try it.

If we could just ship all of our conservative white-trash christian losers to that litter box they call the Holy Land, we could save America and lower out blood-pressure at the same time.
Imagine what a great place America - and the world at large - would be if God would kill off all of his brats again, like they say he has in the past.
And, how do you not call a supreme-being who would kill every damn thing on earth - a terrorist?

I agree in principle however I am only too aware that if we do not pay attention to the Middle East there they come to the good old USA via planes ramming building etc. It is tough but we must remain engaged.

Selling weapons to Iraq when Hussein was President of Iraq.
Selling weapons to Israel so they can drop cluster bombs and attack Lebanese infrastructure.
Invading Iraq in defience of UN Charter.
Threatening Iran.
Allowing Syria and Egypt to do our torturing.
Propping up Saudi regime.
