What was it like?
Right now I'm a 22 year university student with a young daughter and my parents came to live with me 2 years ago in order to help me financially and emotionally. I've recently reunited with my daughters father (but he recently ended up living12 hours away because of other things) and we planned to move in together in the new year. My parents could tell how upset i've been for the last month and my mom said "Bring him home", (i.e. to live with us) because this is apparently what i need. We've been working on our reationship daily and stuff too. What do you think? (my parents are pretty cool, just drink too much)

Whoops!! I meant lived not living ...and yes it would be like 3 months tops. This would just be a way to get him in the area sooner

Yes he should live with you. What's wrong with that. I lived with my wife's parents for a while, during medical school and I paid my share, kept out of everyone's way and tried to annoy her parents...and it worked out really well!

if ur boyfriend has a relaxed relationship with ur parents start out that way but make sure yall work towards having a place of ur own away from them but close enough to keep them in ur life a little advice from experience make sure the boundaries are set befor he moves in on what is appropiate for ur parents to be involved in i.e. what they have a say in between u and your boyfriend and what they don't that way no ones feelings get trampled on in the interm between all of u living together and when u two move out and let it be known that it is a step to u two living on ur own not a permanate living arrangement this type of cohabitation very rarely last long peacefully mine didn't

Isn't your boyfriend earning enough for you to rent a place somewhere? Anyway, if this is the only alternative at present, talk to your bf and set a date of when you are to move into your own place. As a temporary step it is alright to live with the parents, but it shouldn't be forever

It is not a good idea to live with your parents, they will be involved with everything in your lives.

quite frankly, i think your parents seem cool too, but they need to give you your little wings so you can fly. sure its cool that they want you to be there and that they want to help, but maybe you should try it on your own, for now.
