...in terms of a love relationship, where the man & wife had committed there lifes to each other and one of the parties eventually decided to separate and divorce (while the innocent party had done all he/she could do to live an honest life) ...is`nt it the same as treason against that person ?

What would be the punishment for treason ?

Love is supposed to endure ALL circumstances, does`nt it

treason is subversive actions against the state.

If you are "bitter" about your spouse requesting a divorce perhaps you ought to sweep your own side of the street.

Relationships take work. Love will endure all things but somethings should not be tolerated in a relationship.

You know where you are going with this question, and I suggest you get some help and fast. We are able to make any decisions we want in life and if one chooses to be selfish than so be it... Love hurts at times, but we need to see that some things were just not meant to be, and move on.. Every thing happens for a reason and soon enough you will be able to see this, so please what ever sick or stupid plans are running through your head, please don't act on them.. Hey, we all get a little nuts once in a while and we all walk that same thin line between sanity and insanity... There is no reason to cross it my friend.. Let her go...

Yes, love and marriage is supposed to last until death do you part. That's in the wedding vows. But the way things are today, the vows should be changed to "for better or worse, richer or poorer, or until something better comes along." That's the attitude of people taking vows nowadays.

no matter what someone says love does not conquer all!...that's only in the fairy tales, you can love someone with all your heart & they love you back with all their heart but sometimes love just isn't enough to live your life with that person .....im not saying you cant find someone you love & who loves you back all i am saying is that sometimes no matter how much you love someone or how hard you try to make it work ,you just cant do it!....i know i have been there before,i am now happily married to someone else after spending 6 years of my life trying to make it work ...i never stopped loving this other person i still love him very much but i knew we were never going to make it so i had to leave.
