Dynasty Warriors Orbs?

Question

Hey all. I recently bought Dynasty Warriors 4. Great game lots of good action, but I just found this thing called a Blast Orb, and it says it allows me to use blast.. but I can't seem to figure out how to use it.. so how do I use orbs? or what do they do!?

Different orbs add different effects. The blast orb sets your oppents alight and cannot be blocked. There is also the ice orb, poisen orb and electricity orb, there are more but my memory doesnt serve me well.

You can add the orb to your character just before you start your match. You know the part where you can select your weapon and bodyguards etc. Well, there is a section where you can add items, one of them being orbs. Just select your blast orb and enjoy.

Also bear in mind orbs have level to, the higher the level, the more the skill is activated. It adtivates automatically in game.

Orbs add an extra ability to your warrior. The blast orb for instance if I recall correctly allows you to hurt enemies even if their blocking. How you use them is simply have your musou bar full and then you will the ability. It is automatic and you should see a somewhat silver streaks coming off your weapon.

Actually if I remember correctly the Blast Orb just gives you the ability to use an unblockable attack. For example, anytime you use your charge attacks (triangle) it'll go through any blocks by your opponents.

you gotta have your musuo bar full, and than any type of charge attack (triangle combos) will activate the ability
