Classified !

The record deep dives are not kept on public record...

if you read JANE'S FIGHTING SHIPS you get a good number of baseline guesstimates.

The Soviet Alpha was supposed to be capable of truly incredible deep dives (as well as remarkable top speeds) due to its Titanium Hull. The More recent Akula and Sierra types are probably capable of matching the Alpha depth but not staying down that deep for anywhere near as long... My best guesstimates for average operational depths (tho why a mod sub would need to get down there is another question...) would be:

1. SSN's 5-600 meters .... most likely 3-400 as standard
2. SSBN's ( Trident D4/D5 including the US Ohio class and the UK Vanguards) 350 meters safely... perhaps down to 450 ?
3. SSK's 300 meters (Kilo Class and recent Jap boats)

The Boomers/Bombers have a great handicap in the Missile tubes... weakens hull maximum integ. limits while the conventional SSks haven't the space to drastically thicken their hulls to reach great depth.
