the wearing of leather shoes or snake skin shoes or croc or alligator shoes? and are all of these people vegaterians? why don't they protest about fishes in tanks is that cruel also?

Peta is a load of cr@p. they are eco-terrorists not true animal rights activists. did you know that the majority of donations sent to PETA are spent on eco-terrorist activities and bailing their people out of jail and their court costs because of these activities?

PETA is for the ethical treatment of animals. The main reason fur is a problem is because the animals are raised solely for their hides and no other benefit. They often protest fur wearers and the reason fur is unpopular today is because of their efforts. Not all people in PETA are vegetarians, but many are. Some wear leather shoes, which are a by-product of beef/meat production. As to the fish tanks, that is no more cruel than keeping a cat or dog at home. It's impossible to group all PETA into one description.

I'm all for animal rights, and I am a vegetarian, but some of the PETA people give people like me a bad rap. They protest everything...
Do you know how hard it is to find shoes that aren't made of leather? Why can't more shoe companies use fake leather? Fur is optional though. That's why they hate Jennifer Lopez so much, her clothing line features fur. What's the point? Who really needs to wear fur except pompous overpaid celebrities?
