If you are into design / animation / editing then a mac is worth every penny and I definately reccomend it. Especially a pro version. However if you are just using this computer for personal use and not for your career then I reccomend checking out a pc like a dell or something. It will be much cheaper and you will be getting everything out of it that you need. Mac's are awesome for editing and graphics etc. But if you are just needing a computer for the norm. then dont spend the extra $.

You get 2 operating systems on one computer. I think it's worth it.

perhaps it is...depends what you want your comp for. i just got a macbook 2.0 ghz 13" and i love it.
