For the first time yesterday, i walked into LV boutique and got myself a LV tulum gm from Takashimaya outlet, prime shopping mall in Singapore. What amazed me was the inner label says "made in Spain" and there ain't any authenticity card but there is a serial number inside a inner pouch. I do not doubt its authenticity since I bought it from a Louis Vuitton Boutique but would it bring down the value since it is made in Spain and it is supposed to be the signature brand of France. Would appreciate your sincere comments.

Believe it or not, it's cheaper to make in Spain than in France. Just as it's cheaper for Sony to have a plant in Ireland, where the wages are cheaper and then shipped back to Japan and then to the rest of the world.
But regardless of where it's made, it's still a product of the original company.

i have a decent amount of stuff from them. some say made in paris, some say made in italy and some say made in spain. i didnt buy it at some crap store either. i bought it from louis vuitton boutiques in ny, tysons corner, la or on their website. their website alternates from their label from made in paris, spain and italy too
