Honesty?
If I was 2 breast-feed my baby I doubt U'd even notice.
What makes U think women do it 2 show-off or just 2 offend U?
I can C why U got a violation.
Breasts were & always have been 4 the purpose of feeding babies.
Well 4 the last 8,000+ years.
Bit of a tradition & U'd better get used 2 it, huh?
& Grow up!

If this was just one incident where you got reported, then I'd say the asker (or whomever) was being a bit too insensitive. But if you're being reported often, then perhaps you need to take a look at how you answer. You should be honest with your opinions, but you don't have to be insulting when you give them. Try not to be so blunt, and show some concern for the feelings of the asker, and perhaps they won't be so offended. Instead of saying "it's gross, no one wants to see a big boob hanging out" you could have said "I find it gross, and don't care to see someone's breast hanging out when they feed their child in public." See the difference?

well, my account got deactivated for being what some may describe as un pc, or brutally honest as i would call it. Everythign was just gone one morning, my email 360 addresses photos level 6 answers score, everything and they wont give it back. once you get to a certain level people start reporting. plus I think yahoo got taken over by some religious zealots, with some ignorant censor nazis.

The trick is to say the same thing without grossing out someone (and it seems to be very easy to do that.)
Such as:
"Breastfeeding is a very personal action and many people get bothered by seeing it in public. A little decorum and privacy is called for, for everyone around"
True, it lacks the earthy pithyness of your reply, but it beat another violation notice

Well, since the question was for tips on breast feeding and not "Your opinion of breast feeding?" then your answer was indeed a violation.
If she had asked for your "opinion", and you had given that answer then it would not have been.
If you don't have an answer for the question and you just type your unwanted opinion, then she has a right to report you for not answering the question.
Peace!

That hasn't happened to me, though I am usually honest in my answers. One one hand, reporting excessive violations seems very big brother-ish, but on the other, there are quite a few younger users that don't necessarily need to hear explicit answers.

I think whoever reported you is just an uptight person who really shouldn't ask for opinions if they don't want to be told honestly what you feel... you were honest... I actually agree with you that belongs in private...plus with all the perverts today it's too dangerous...

It's not allowed here so be good and boring and write what all these numpties want to read (Americans are very shallow people and unfortunately do not have the GR8 SOH that us Brits have).

Yahoo has taken it way too far. Instead of concentrating on fixing all those problems with their server, they deed it necessary to read every word and become the police. the constant "canned' answers they mail back to you when something goes is awful.
