UK did away with shillings in the 1970s!

There are 86.7 Rupees to one Pound Sterling

Prior to 1970,
12 pence = 1 shilling
20 shillings = 1 pound

Since 1970,
100 (new) pence = 1 pound

1 old shilling = 5 (new) pence = 4.335 Indian rupees
1 old penny = .36 Indian rupees
