on the radio today they were talking about madrid putting a ban on models that are too thin..
how do you feel about that...? do you think its a good thing? a bad thing? do you not care?

i think they're meaning behind it is... models that are too thin...arenot a good imagine for women..and that we strive way to much too look that way ?

i think its a pretty good thing.. i think we are bombarded enough as it is too look a certain way.. and it would be nice to see more normal looking models..

i mean we can't all look like pamela anderson

I believe they're wanting to promote a healthier image. There are too many models these days who are anorexic-looking and seriously underweight. By banning the stick figures, the models appearing in those fashion shows will display a healthier image. I'm sure they'll stick with thin models, just not the ones who disappear completely when they turn sideways.

Actually I think it's a pretty dumb idea. Why now? Why now after all these years of thin models are we finally banning them? Models don't make you become Anorexic, Bulimic, EDNOS, etc they can be something that makes you more concered of you weight but honestly, they aren't to blame. So they're a little bit thinner then everyone else. No big deal...I see "stick-figures" walking down the street all the time, so what does it matter if they Model out clothing a couple sizes smaller then the average human?

I think it's a good thing and will prevent many girls from becoming anorectic.
They weighed the models and the minimum weight admissible was 56 kg.
That's 123 lbs. Not bad! Remember they are very tall.

Promoting anorexia among women is not a good thing. Models today look like they need to eat more. why can't they have models look like normal people? do you think normal people will fit into those clothes? it's rediculous to sell clothes that would only fit my little finger!
