This might be unpopular, but I would still go with a minidress. I never judge a person by weight and you would be surprised at how many guys would be impressed. There are plenty of stylish LBD (Little Black Dresses) that will make you look good and feel confident.

Ask a plus size young lady who lives in your town. Someone hip and trendy... maybe an office worker. I think you would be better off to take the advice of a local woman over the advice of people online. Our fashion sense tends to be quite different depending on where we are. The best advice for what to wear in this situation for example in Pendleton, Indiana, USA might be quite different from East Yorks, England. Know what I'm saying?

I suggest a long flowing evening gown...just go try some different ones on until you find the one that compliments your shape...bring a friend if too, that way you can get an honest opinion because some times sales people can be very pushy.
