depends what state and county you are in, you can check the
web in your area with this question? ?

or just relax, you will be notified.

I sincerely doubt a warrant would be issued for such a small infraction.

good luck

I missed jury duty before. But what I did was just not answer the letter sent in the mail. I don't know if I was chosen or not. That was like 4 years ago and nothing happened. I have no warrant. I would assume when you get pulled over by police, they would say something. Never have though.

If you have received a Jury Response Card, you have failed to appear for jury service. All citizens are required by law to periodically serve as jurors unless they have a legal excuse, and the court is required to enforce this obligation. You will need to choose an alternate date by accessing there Self-Service Jury System, speaking to jury personnel by calling or by completing the Jury Respone Card and mailing it to the court.

If you have received a final summons, you have failed to appear for jury service on two separate occasions. The Court and its staff shall employ all necessary and appropriate means to ensure that all eligible citizens fulfill this important civic duty. Please contact jury personnel to arrange for a date to complete your jury service.

If you have had a letter served to you by the Sheriff's office, this is the document that begins contempt proceedings. Once served with the Order to Show Cause, failure to appear as required could result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.

You may avoid a visit from the sheriff and the $2000 fine by contacting jury personnel to arrange for a date to complete your jury service.

Are you kidding? My sister throws away every letter she got from them and she's never gone OR been in trouble! But I went and got it over with, and so should you.
