It really is time for a spectacular change but I'm afraid we won't see it this time around. A woman president would bring a different spin to the white house and probably for the better. But hope for Hillary or Condi are not that strong as the charisma and characteristic factors are not working for either of them.

If I had to guess, I would say someone like Rudy or Mitt on the republican side or a very very middle of the road person for the democrats.

And yes, our future is at stake but I tend to think more about our children's children who may be fighting the new Crusades if we don't choose correctly.

I agree, with the previous responders that Rudy G will make an excellent President. Leading the largest city in the USA on it's darkets day(9-11) makes him more than qualified to lead our country. There are some issues that I do disagree with him on, but I would vote for him over ANY Democrat.

If I could vote for a woman, my personal choice would be Condi Rice. She has moral integrity that Hillary does not. Again I would vote for her if she were the nominee for President over ANY Democrat!

Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel or Former NY Mayor Rudy Guilani.

Someone who won't be bought by the special interests. Someone who will stand up for what is right. Someone who won't make a promise s/he can't keep. Someone with the courage of her/his convictions but has the will to compromise. Someone who will put America first without isolating us.

Am I asking too much?

I think someone tough like Rudy Guiliani would be great. He is rich, touch and tells it like it is.
