'Shaun of the Dead', you can't take zombies seriously, if you look back to the originals that might have been considered scary to the Mary Whitehouse ruled public, but by today's standards, whilst classic; are merely comedic. I think 'Shaun of the Dead' was a superb homage, the parody both poked fun at and paid respect to the classics.
