If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express to read your e-mail, then you want to get SPAM BLOCKER software to combat this problem. If you are using AOL, YAHOO or other email services, then use the REPORT SPAM button on every one.

You should get a secondary email address. It it for services like this. I recommend a free Yahoo email address. When you get that new account, test it with your regular email address. Then change the address that is shown HERE. With that address, you can just DELETE everything.

Since you asked this question, you will get many many more emails. If you used a secondary email account, this question would not fill your inbox with a TON of stuff.

The best way to handle SPAM is to simply AVOID it. But SPAM will be the DEATH of the internet. When everyone gets HUNDREDS a day... When everyone's INBOX is flooded with the stuff, the email will become useless. FOR GOSH SAKES, don't ever buy anything because of SPAM. Do not make their efforts profitable. They will RUIN the internet for everyone.

If the junk goes into your inbox, you can click in the box preceding the sender, then cl SPAM. The address will be blocked.

If it fills your bulk folder:

1. Through Mail Options, General Preferences, I set mine to display 25 at a time. I look down the list of senders. If a legitimate message landed in the bulk folder, click the message, then click "move to." Move it to the inbox.

If it is all junk, I click "check all," then click "delete." All gone with 2 mouse clicks.

3. If a disgusting message is displayed in the bulk folder, I click it then click "move to" -- then send it to the inbox. From the inbox, I can report it as SPAM and have it blocked.

Well... If Ur using yahoomail then go to Ur mailbox... The folders like indox, drafts, sent Items etc. would be displayed in the left side... There would be two small links at the top corner of this list of folders... One says "ADD" and the other says "EDIT"... Click on "EDIT"... The page with allthe folders would appear... click "OPTIONS" near the "BULK" FOLDER... From the page that appears, select the option that says "Immediately delete these messages upon receipt"... click continue... Now the all the spam would be Automatically deleted... Similiar modifications in settings may stop spam from other mail services too... I hope this answer Helped...

I wish, I have my junk mail filter on and I still get hundreds of them every day, and now they're showing up in my inbox rather than my junk mail box. It's very irritating and I refuse to do business with clods that annoy me either by unsolicited emails or phone calls. The junk mail in the mail box I can use in the fireplace in the winter.
