I have purchased used items on eBay. I was satisfied with my purchases. As part of the bidding process, I determined how much I was willing to pay, so I cannot complain about prices.
As for cell phones, I don't see how you can save any money, considering the risk.
Some cell companies will give you a free cell phone. Some, like Tracfone will sell you a new phone for as little as $20 at Walmart. AAA will give you a free phone if you sign up for their plan: $10 per month + you pay for each call you make.

I have bought many things from ebay. Cell phones are tricky though. My best advice is to get one from an ebay store. But no matter what make sure they have a return policy so if there is something wrong you can send it back. I have gotten some that work great and some that were DOA. But I sent it back and got a refund which was great. Just be careful and read the people's ratings too. Good Luck

some auctions on Ebay are seen. I purely relies upon on if the broking places a image up. look for an intensive description of what you're procuring. examine out the score they have. i does no longer purchase from all people it is under ninety 8%. nevertheless, i offered a shirt from Ebay and the sellers scrore replaced into a hundred% and that i did no longer recieve the article until I had to record them and insect them approximately it for 2 months. additionally, look to work out in the event that they different than back products. That way if there have been to be something incorrect with what you're procuring, you are able to desire to return it and get your funds back. sturdy success!! : )

I've purchased some clothing, books and dvds from various sellers on Ebay. I would only purchase from a "mega" seller, with at least a 98% rating. I'd check their feedback to see if they handle any issues, etc. I'd also pay for it using a credit card through PayPal. It's like anything else, you need to do a little research. It should be fine.

I have bought a lot of used things off ebay. I would advise you to buy from someone with 100 % positive feedback. If they even have one negative I usually don't buy.

E-bay is pretty reliable as they have a worldwide reputation to maintain. I've bought some stuff and electronics from there . It's all fine.
