It means that MSN is being STUPID. Thier system sometimes has trouble tracking your logins. But let me suggest these steps.

When you are done working on-line:
There is a LOG OUT button on the screen. USE that first. Then close the window. Then when another small window appears that asks you to LOG OUT, click LOG OUT again. Try not to log in again to do more. Take a break before using MSN again.

When you get this error again:
Use the Log out button and close the MSN completely. Make sure that it has closed the telephone line connection completely. Take a small break before trying again. Generally, MSN should time-out in 5 minutes or so, if your log-out was not successful.

When using MSN:
Try to stay on-line for everything that you want to do. Try to log in just once during a morning session.

Good luck.

I get this same message on my home server when I am at another location using my laptop. Perhaps one of your kids may have at one time let you use their computer to check your messages or email, and the username and password is still on that system. I have found the best way to track back is to create a new username and password, then send a message back to your other name and see if anyone answers it. If they do, you can see who it is and ask them to create an account of their own, and your information will no longer be available to them once they sign on with their own account.

Possibly you are using a dial up connection that drops occasionally and when you reconnect you get this message? It could be that the MSN system just hasnt realized you are disconnected yet and takes some time to synchronize.

it may mean that someone else has your screen name and password and is using it. Change your password.
