Is it the dipstick that came with the car? It should be long enough, you might be dangerously low on oil.

Go to a dealership and order one. But, are you sure you presently don't have the right one? If there is a problem with the one you have, the manufacturer should replace it for free, unless someone lost the one that came with the car and put in one from another vehicle.

Get the specific one for your car from the dealer or a scrapyard. If you've got the right one for your car, I'd guess you might need to put some oil in!

Where did you get the shorter dipstick from?? Speak to you local dealer or speak to parts companies in your area to see if you can get one. make sure you know the model reg and chasis number if you can get it and youll get the right one

if thats the dip stick that came with the car then you dont need a longer one. it will give you a false reading. if there is no oil on the dip stick then you need to put oil in your car!

go to your local auto parts store.auto zone or advance auto should have one.check to see if your stick has broken because if it has you might want to pull the oil pan off and get the tip out to make sure it isnt pulled up into the engine or into your oil pump.

That's pretty funny. I once knew a lady that never changed her oil, when the car started to smoke,, she said " you have to change it?" and a guy who thought you should fill it up to the valve cover. lol
