Every time I type in www.yahoo.co.uk it goes back to the crappy american way.

I have tried using uk.yahoo.com and I have checked my cookies and none of them work. I even tried a hyperlink and its just defaults back to the american one.

That's very odd. Something must be blocking your access to that site.
Are you using the Yahoo! browser? Try using Explorer. Other than that, I'm stumped.

firstly check if your browser supports Cookies.
