In the spring and in autumn the lenght of the dayl light is about the same however it seems to be more warm in autumn.why is this the case?

The weather patterns make for warmer weather in the autumn. Just because it's autumn, all the winds and weather from the previous season don't switch off.

In the spring, it takes time to 'get over winter'. In the autumn, same idea, it takes time to change over from summer.

I think it's psychological - we've just come off the summer, so we're still thinking it's warm in fall, whereas, in the spring, we've just come out of winter, so we're still thinking cold.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that the ground temperature (as opposed to the ambient, or air, temperature) really is warmer in fall and colder in spring.

because autumn comes after the summer when it's hot and spring comes after the winter when it's cold.
